What’s Hiding at the Bottom of the Garden?

Activities are aimed at families with a recommended minimum age of 4 for children.
Sessions run hourly between 10.30 and 3.30pm. Allow an hour to complete your activity.

Lying in the heart of the Stourbridge glassmaking industry, the Red House Glass Cone was built at the end of the 18th century and was used for the manufacture of glass until 1936. Today, it is the only complete Glass Cone in the area and one of only four left in the United Kingdom. With the aid of film, audio guides, exhibits and live demonstrations, you can now explore the Cone’s 200 years of glassmaking history.
Opening Hours: Monday to Sunday, 10.00am – 4.00pm. Open on Bank Holidays.
Audio Tours: Last audio tour admission 3.00pm
Glassblowing Demonstrations: Weekends 1.30pm – 3.30pm
On site craft studios open Mondays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays
