A big Shhh…OUT for libraries!

Old Macdonald and three pigsLong gone are the days when you’d get shussshhhhed for making a noise in the library. Now they’re exciting places where loads of fun can be had.

With a whole host of events and activities planned in our libraries across Dudley borough throughout the Summer holidays, we felt they deserved a Shhhhh…OUT from us!

Of course libraries want to get kids engaged in reading – and the Summer Reading Challenge will once again be rewarding children who read six books before 14th September. (We hear there’s a certificate, glow-in-the-dark wristband and the chance to win some amazing prizes like family tickets to local attractions up for grabs).

But libraries are also bringing stories to life with some incredible events over the coming weeks.
