Creatives at the Cone build online home

CreativeConeIf you haven’t yet discovered the wonders within the craft studios at the Red House Glass Cone in Stourbridge, you can now do so from the comfort of your armchair.

Whilst it’s no substitute for a trip to the historic site itself, meeting the artists and seeing their work first-hand, we hope this will help spread the word about the incredible creativity and craftsmanship housed within the walls of the cone studios.

The new creativecone.co.uk is a collaborative website designed to showcase not only the work of the artists, but give a little insight into their craft, their inspiration – and share a bit of daily life at the cone too.

A blog keeps you up to date with news, views and artist interviews – and the online shop means you can capture a piece of local art without stepping foot outside your door.

You can also find details of crafting classes run by the artists themselves such as pottery, painting, glass bead making and engraving.  Book on yourself, or treat a loved one to a unique gift experience.

So, if you can’t just pop along to the Cone in person (although a visit is highly recommended!)  – make this your next best stop.
