Adult Crafts 

Aimed at people who enjoy chatting and making, no previous skills required. Come along, have a go and have a cuppa. Come and try it; we promise you’ll want to come back Please pre-book.

Fused Glass Course. 3 x 2 hour sessions.

Attendees must book for all three sessions. Participants will learn how to create fused glass items in our studio, including dishes and pendants.

Pottery Course. 3 x 2 hour sessions

Attendees must book for all three sessions. Participants will use various techniques to creat pottery in our education space at Dudley Museum at The Archives.

Aimed at people who want to experience the pleasure of creating gorgeous fused glass pieces. Each month we offer a different theme.

In the Style Of… 8 years +

An exciting art class once a week during the summer holidays. Participants will learn new skills, use different materials and work on different mediums.

Teddy Bear’s Picnic. 4 years +

If you go down the Cone today you’re sure of a big surprise…Bring a furry friend, a picnic and relax and enjoy the surroundings with your friends. Teddy bear crafts and trail available.

Jewellery Workshop. 11 years +

Learn a new skill and create your own jewellery at theme themed workshops. Working with seed beads and/or wirework.

Lear a new skill and creat your own jewellery at these themed workshops. Working with seed beads and/or wirework.

Diddy Dinos. Pre-school

Story, sensory play and fun in our popular under 4’s stay and play session. Suitable for ages 12 months – 4 years. The session is designed for babies, toddlers and their carers to interact and play.

Glass fusion. For ages 5+

Working in our glass fusing studio, make lovely glass treasures. Sessions last about 30 minutes and need to be booked in advance.

Glass fusion plus. For ages 8+

A more advanced session aimed at children and adults who have had a go at our glass crafts…and are hooked! Sessions last about an hour and need to be booked in advance.

Multi Media Wreath. 2 x 3 hour sessions.

Working in both our glass fusing studio and our learning space you will create glass flowers, felt leaves then wire your creation into a wreath.

Reading on the Rocks

A chance to read a book and then share your opinion with new friends over a cuppa. Books are available to borrow from Dudley Library Service.

Sticky Saturday

Kids can have a go at being messy and sticky…and we do the tidying up! Quick, simple crafts to make and take home with you.  Drop in at any time but allow 30 minutes.

Teenage Market

A great way to showcase ‘enterprise’ with young people 12-23 years of age how they can ‘market’ their talents and anything they earn – they can keep! Are you a young person who is interested? Please register at www.theteenagemarket.co.uk Young people under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Trick and Treat. 3 years +

Trick or treat around the Cone. A safe and fun family event. Decorate a goody bag and see who (or what) you can find around the site with treats. Pre-booking required.

Family Days

Enjoy the museum, walk our themed trail, try crafts and sample other activities – all at one family friendly location. Drop in between the specified times, allowing at least an hour.

Santa

Our very popular seasonal experience. Bring along your little on to meet Santa, receive a gift, do a craft and follow our trail…all warm inside! We recommend you bring your own camera to capture the magic.

Christmas Tree Festival

A free community festival displaying trees decorated by local schools, charities and businesses. If you organisation would like to take part in our FREE festival please contact museums@dudley.gov.uk for an application form
