The Guild of the Blessed St Edmund will be setting up camp at the Red House Glass Cone on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd August to give visitors a taste of medieval life.
Bringing the medieval life and times alive with living history displays which show what it would have been like to have lived in that era it’s certainly an event not to miss!
Showing the different types of clothing that would have been worn by different tiers of society and the laws relating to what you could and could not wear. They’ll also be talks and demonstrations on armour, dressing a knight ready for battle, archery and combat techniques!
The group also have a tented encampment which shows how people would have travelled, how food would be caught and cooked, including spices, how they were used and how and where they were imported from.
The family event is free to attend and runs from 10am to 4pm.
