The Village Urban Resort Dudley has been putting a bit of va va voom into its Verve and Grill restaurant – and is set to unveil the results on Saturday night!
The hotel has invested £185,000 in a major refurbishment of the restaurant, which includes a tasty new rendition of its menu, with fresh input from newly-appointed head chef – James Sinclair-Jones – a BBC Master Chef semi-finalist.
The new-look Verve has a cool, contemporary look and feel, with all new decor, furnishings and a new bar, which diners can see for themselves on Saturday when the restaurant is officially re-opened.
As well as the eaterie, diners will find that weekends have also been revamped a little, with plans to introduce Saturday Night Live at the Verve, with live music to entertain guests, and injecting some fun into Sundays, with a range of family entertainment at lunch-time, including face painting, magicians and an ice cream machine for the kids.
It’s hoped that the refurbishment will also extend the wedding services on offer at the hotel, as the new Verve design makes it suitable to host more intimate wedding parties, as well as other celebrations.
“We’re very excited about the refurbishment, which has created something totally unique in the area, and will offer our diners the chance to sample some fabulous food, cooked fresh to order, without paying high-end restaurant prices,” explained Darryl Holdnall, the hotel’s general manager.
Following the opening night on Saturday, Sunday lunches will be back on the menu the following day, with a new £8.95 Sunday Roast carvery available.
