Rev your engines – classic cars are on parade!

vehicle dayDo you know your Aston from your E-type and your Spitfire from your Sprite?

Even if you don’t – a display of classic cars is always a spectacle to behold.

Whether you’re a true petrol-head, an admirer of fine engineering, or simply a casual observer – there’s a host of events heading to Dudley celebrating the classic car.

The West Midlands Classic Car Club are geared up for a great day in the courtyard of Dudley Castle this weekend, exhibiting their vehicles against the stunning historical backdrop of Dudley’s famous 11th Century landmark.

Hot on their heels, on 27th July, the Living Museum is steering a tribute to Black Country manufacturing.

Visitors will see first-hand, well-known historical names such as AJS, Bean, Star, Sunbeam and Jensen to name just a few of the automotive marques that put Black Country manufacturing on the map.

And if we haven’t quite filled your tank after those two events, don’t worry – there’s more!

Hundreds of classic vehicles will descend on Himley Hall and Park in September, thanks to organisers Transtar Promotions. The variety of motorcycles, cars, buses and trucks on display will be sure to re-ignite your enthusiasm for these enduring masterpieces.
